Replace the first two lines in the file ../dota 2 beta/game/dota/steam.inf with

Client Version=https://api.steampowered.com/IGCVersion_570/GetClientVersion/v1?format=xml

Server Version=https://api.steampowered.com/IGCVersion_570/GetClientVersion/v1?format=xml
